The Mitochondria is activated, light photons are absorbed by cytochrome c oxidase - and enzyme in the mitochondria, triggering a dramatic increase in ATP (cellular energy) production.

850nm - Near Infrared Light: Invisible to the eye but highly penetrating. Reaches deep muscles, joints and connective tissue - directly activating mitochondria in the cells that need it most.

How do you use it?
- Place the Kataki device on the target area - leg, shoulder, back or wherever recovery is needed. The Horse, Dog range are all battery powered, no cords to deal with! We also have some battery powered options for busy people on the go.
- Choose your light mode. Red Light 660nm, great for treating skin issues, muscle fatigue, relieving pain and stress and increasing circulation. Near Infrared Light at 850nm works at a deeper level helping to repair tendons, joints and bone reducing pain and inflammation.
- Combine these two lights and add the pulse function for the Ultimate Treatment combination.
- Timer for the battery powered models has a default setting for 15min treatments. For our plug in products, you can chose treatments of up to 30min with various power, light and pulse functions.
